Working people are feeling the stress of trying to hold it all together. Meanwhile, the same billionaires and anti-union extremists who are making necessities more expensive are also cutting the funding that supports our jobs and communities. They’re even attacking our voice on the job.
We’re not going to stand aside. It’s our hard work – not corporate greed – that makes our communities stronger. When we get organized, we win.
We Decide What Happens Next

Anti-union politicians are making it too hard for families to make ends meet. They’re handing out trillions in tax cuts to billionaires and wealthy corporations at the direct expense of working people and public services.
They have weakened Social Security and Medicare, made cuts to health care that will kick millions off their health insurance, slashed Medicaid and SNAP benefits, and attacked workers’ union freedoms. But we’re not taking this sitting down.
AFSCME is how we fight back, keep what we’ve earned, and build a future that workers deserve.
In 2026, we are mobilizing to fight for strong contracts, safety at work, a secure retirement, strong public services, and pro-worker elected officials who will make life more affordable.

Together we can build a BETTER FUTURE.
That means going to a union meeting. Engaging your co-workers and getting them involved. Signing up for PEOPLE. Signing up for alerts about your union.
The bigger we are, the more power we have to say working people shouldn’t just get by – we demand to thrive.
